The Kattaikkuttu Ambassadors are a group of eminent members of the business and arts communities in Chennai established in 2009. They have committed themselves to promoting the work of the Kattaikkuttu Sangam and the Kattaikkuttu Gurukulam and lobbying for our cause.
The Kattaikkuttu Ambassadors are our eyes and ears in the city and provide sounding board to the senior management of the Sangam to which they can turn for advice and brainstorming. The Ambassadors have actually helped us increase our good-will and networking outside our rural field of work and have been pivotal in linking us to important governmental and other organizations. The Ambassadors and the Sangam stay in touch with the Sangam on an individual basis through regular email updates. They meet in person once a year during the annual Kattaikuttu Ambassadors Lunch. The Kattaikkuttu Sangam is looking to broaden the base of the Kattaikkuttu Ambassadors by drawing in people at a pan-Indian and international level.
