English HELP Page on Facebook

The Kattaikkuttu Gurukulam has opened an English HELP Facebook Page to share its English lesson materials, questions and answers and revisions with other students, who will be writing their 10th standard Board Exams in March-April 2016. You can find the English HELP Facebook Page here.

18 February 2017: ANNUAL THEATRE FESTIVAL of the Kattaikkuttu Sangam - All are welcome!

Venue: Kuttu Kalai Kudam, 36 Punjarasantankal Village; Time: 8:30 pm to 5:30 am the next day - Programme:

  • 08:30 to 09:30 - "Ragalayam" (Musical programme) by the students of the Kattaikkuttu Gurukulam
  • 09:30 to 11:30 - "Pakadai Tukil" ("Dice and Disrobing") by the Shri Ananda Muruka Kattaikkuttu Sabha, Pudupattu Village
  • 11:30 to 01:30 - "Krishnan Tutu" ("Krishna's Embassy") by the Om Sakthi Nataka Sabha, Sholingar
  • 01:30 to 03:30 - "Chakravyuha" (last scene of the new all-night production "Abhimanyu") by the Kattaikkuttu Young Professionals Company, Punjarasantankal Village
  • 03:30 to 05:30 - "Karna Moksham" ("Karna's Death") by the Ponniyamman Kattaikkuttu Nataka Manram, Nedumbirai Village

This is the 27th edition of the Festival - which has always been accessible to everyone free of cost. We welcome donations to support the Festival, which has no funding, and of the Kattaikkuttu Gurukulam. 

Please note that photography and video-footage of all performances or back-stage make-up is not allowed without the prior permission of the organisers.
